The exhibition Smoke a Grid like Grapevine does presents artistic positions relating to the work of the architect and engineer Konrad Wachsmann. 8 CONNECTORS is inspired by Wachsmann's prototypes for universal connector systems that seem to exist in a field between utilitarian objects and aesthetic sculptures. From a search for connectors in an online database for 3D objects a selection of 8 are chosen to be scaled up and reconstructed in coloured paper.
