Acting on an invitation to create a work on the theme of futurology, it was decided to try to predict the artist's own future sculptural production. The installation is a large schematic arrangement of 625 different objects, that all were seen as representations of possible ways that the work logically could develop into, taking own interests as well as typical artist career developments into consideration. Both the positive and the less positive futures were considered, and the prediction saw the work move into directions such as architecture and furniture design; conservative Minimal Art; Op-Art; working with text and systems; trash aesthetics; and even small figurations in clay.
